Elegance

Today, I would like to share this card I made, based on http://thecardconcept.blogspot.com/ challenge(Floral Elegance color challenge).

The colour and texture of the picture were my inspiration.The style I have used is Clean and Layered.

 

 

 

The list of supplies used are:
Flourish embossing folder from Kaiser craft, Fancyful Flourish Right from Cherry Lynn designs,
Border die,
Ironwork motifs by Spellbinders,
Paper punched flowers, distress inks, and rhinestones for the final embellished look.

Hello All!

Today, I am super excited as I tried a new style of water colouring and it's just superb. 

I used a stamp, distress inks and a water brush, and border die-cuts, embossing, stamping and layering for the background. incredibly the the time taken was just 10 minutes and the result is right in front of you. 

I would like to thank Meetu  Agarwal (Krafterscart) for giving me the rose stamp (such a beautiful gift).

What a Wonderful Day!!!

The Chirping of the birds ,
The beautiful Morning glow,
The fresh and pure air,
Oh ! What a wonderful beginning of a Day.

 I am not a poetJ but this is my biggest inspiration, so today’s creation comes right from here.

In this card I have used three techniques: masking, overlaying, negative stamping( stamping with water).
I distressed the background using shades of yellow, green, and blue .I used chipping sparrow stamp ; a beautiful flourish (sorry don’t know the name just know that it’s from Kaiser craft) to create the background. Further i used stamping with water technique and overlaying technique to create the leafy background.
Take another cardstock and stamp the sentiment and chipping sparrow using black archival ink
Fussy cut the sentiment and the sparrow .Distressed the sentiment ,using shades of orange and yellow distress inks and Coloured the bird using water colour pencils and embellished it using glossy accent. Finally I used Royal blue cardstock as a base for the card.

I really enjoyed making this card and would love to share with all of you.

I started from making the background. I used flourish embossing folder by Kaiser craft and distressed it using Worn lipstick distress ink. Added a very pretty background die – fancy lattice from paperartrisy.

To highlight the design on embossed design I used pearl liquid glitter.

I took a white cardstock (4”*8”) and punched one side using Martha border punch.

I used humming bird stamp and black archival ink to stamp the flowers on white cardstock.

Further did fussy cutting and used water colour pencils and zig clean colour brush markers to colour. Highlighted the same using wink of stella.

I added die cut butterfly and some punched flowers and die cut leaf to complete the bouquet.

The tag :- I used die from spellbinder shape abilities and distressed the sides using green distress ink. 

I stamped the sentiment (sorry I don’t know the name of stamp) using pink archival ink.

And added a bow, punched flower, diamonds, and some pink glass beads to give the final touch.

Finally used glitter foam sheet as the base.

Cupid love

hello everyone!!
I love working with challenge.
It was a big challenge for me as I have always loved to work only with flowers n birds n butterflies.
But one always learn from challenges. thanks for giving such a challenge.

 

 

This is what I came up with.

As I just mentioned I have never worked with such theme thus I don't even have any stamp/ die for cupid. But as said where there is a will there is a way.

I sketched out the cuid on a white paper and than did fussy cutting. as shown in the below pic.

 

 

Oh I really loved this.

to add a little touch I used fevicryl sparkle glue on top of it.

I used the distress spray to add colour to the background.

I added few punched hearts in white and red.

I die cut the tag and stamped the sentiment on it.

using foam tape and glue I stuck everything .

The card is ready.
